The main advantage of UNET's Internet service over other Internet Service Providers is our direct connection to Network Access Point (NAP) in the United States. These NAPs act as the "meeting place" of all major providers in the US and this is where their facilities interconnects with each other. In the concept of the world Wide Web (WWW), you can consider the NAP as the core, and being the core - the faster you reach the other network in the WWW. In the US, we are connected to the three NAPs - Oakland (PBNAP), Palo Alto (PAIX), and Los Angeles (MAE-WEST). we also keep a backup link via Taiwan for additional redundancy.

Dial-UpServices

We support a wide range of modems, up to the global ITU-T V.90 specifications for 56Kbps modems. This new modem technology will enable you to surf and download files from the Internet much faster then ever before by increasing downstream speeds from UNET to YOU, thereby enabling higher data rates even over standard analogue phone lines. The V.90 modem is backwards compatible with lower speed modems, this means that you will automatically connect at the highest analog speed.

There are two (2) main types of dial-up Internet access accounts, depending on your requirements: the basic Dial-Up access and the Dedicated Dial-up Access.

• Basic Dial-Up Access
  This account offers you a local dial-up and limited Internet access including a-mailbox with 2Mb storage space for your emails. This account does not allow multiple dial-ins. But we also offer multiple Dial-Up Account for a maximum of 10 users with corresponding mailboxes and storage space.

• Dedicated Dial-UP Access
  This account offers you a local dial-up and unlimited Internet Access including 25 mailboxes with 2Mb storage space each for e-mails and your own Internet address. We will provide you a dedicated number to dial and a dedicated port to connect you to our network

Leased LineServices
If your organization is running complex applications over the Internet that requires higher bandwidth utilization or data transfer, then the solution you are actually looking for is a dedicated leased line Internet access. We offer affordable and competitively priced Internet access (from 65kbps upwards) which comes with fix IP addresses and a service  reliability to support all your networking requirements.

Corporate subscribers will be charged only according to their individual bandwidth requirements.
