Changing Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server for Microsoft Outlook

Step 1

Click on Tools on the Menu, then select Services under it as shown in Figure 1.1.

Step 2

Highlight the Internet Mail name under the Services Tab, then click on the Properties button below the listbox. Refer to Figure 1.2.

Step 3

Click the General Tab, then enter the desired name under the Full name textbox, and desired return e-mail address under the E-mail address textbox. Type-in mail.unet.net.ph under the Internet Mail server textbox. Account Name must be the name before the delimiter in your e-mail address (Ex. username is the Account name in the e-mail address username@unet.net.ph). Password could be filled-in or not depending on the user preference. Click the Advanced Options button to set the Outgoing Mail Server. See Figure 1.3.

NOTE:  For those have domains hosted to us, login should be username@domain (i.e. username@domain.com.ph)

Step 4

Type-in smtp.unet.net.ph in the textbox provided under the Advanced Options window, then click the OK button as shown in Figure 1.4. Apply the changes by clicking the Apply button when it gets back to the Internet Mail Window.
