Changing Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server for Netscape

Step 1
Click on Edit on the Menu, then select Preferences under it as shown in Figure 1.1.

Step 2
Highlight the Mail Server below the Mail & Newsgroups, which is located under the Category. Type-in smtp.unet.net.ph in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server textbox and your username in the Outgoing mail server user name textbox.

NOTE:  For those have domains hosted to us, login should be username@domain (i.e. username@domain.com.ph)

Step 3
Click the Add button in the Incoming Mail Servers portion in our previous screenshot (Figure 1.2) if there is no entry of Incoming Mail Server yet. Then type-in smtp.unet.net.ph in the Server Name textbox as shown in Figure 1.3. Also select the POP3 Server in the combo box labeled Server Type. Fill-in your username under the Username text box.

(Example If you have username account, login name should be  username:unet.net.ph).

Remember password may be optional. Finally, click the OK button below. If there is already an Incoming Mail Server, just edit the entry and modify it to use the Incoming and Outgoing Mail server given above.

NOTE:  For those have domains hosted to us, login should be username@domain (i.e. username@domain.com.ph)
